Learn what you love!

Every child should have the chance to perform in front of a cheering crowd. It’s a life-changing experience.

At Staump Music School we believe all kids, no matter their age or learning style, can discover their true potential through music. Not only will they learn musical technique, but they will also gain confidence in themselves by working with others and performing onstage.

Imagine how your child will feel as they step into the spotlight, greeted by applause. Imagine how you will feel sitting in the front row, watching your child shine.

We seek to provide a welcoming and friendly environment for both you and your child.  Our staff of professional performers and recording artists will give your child a first-hand education in guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele, violin, or voice. We cannot wait to nurture your child’s talent and witness them flourish.

"Tim Staump is producing some talented kids! When I attended the recital to give my presentation, one of the highlights was being able to perform with the students and personally experience their musicality. And then some of the students started switching instruments and many demonstrated equal proficiency on two or more instruments. That's when I realized that the Staump School is truly a gift for the kids, parents, community and the future of music!"

"I speak to aspiring musician audiences all over the world. I met Tim Staump at my 2014 NAMM Show keynote; at that time I knew nothing about his school, but soon learned that he had a rare and special enthusiasm for teaching music to the youth of the area and is providing a healthy, fun outlet for kids interested in learning music. After visiting the school's songwriting camp I noticed the camp emphasis was on teaching strong lyrical hooks and catchy melodies. That’s real important when it comes to the future music success of the students, as those are the 2 most important elements of songwriting to learn. And having met the entire private instruction staff and watching how they communicated with the students, I was really impressed with their professionalism, sensitivity, and passion for helping their students. They truly care, and they were fun people, too! I found both the students and instructors to be incredibly warm and curious - a sign that Tim had cultivated an optimistic, inviting environment where kids could comfortably learn music. My day speaking there turned out to be one of my most fulfilling, enjoyable speaking experiences — I left knowing I got to part of something magical."
